Hi everyone,

It has been awhile since my last update so wanted to send a quick one out today just to let everyone know how things are progressing

ART

Art is in it's final stages. We are only waiting on 4 more pieces! (out of 80+)

Here are a few we have gotten finished recently:

SCHEDULE

No updates here, we feel everything is on schedule. If this changes during production/shipping, I will update everyone immediately

BACKERKIT

We are almost finished here. We still have around 40 people left to confirm their orders in backerkit, so if you were waiting, please do soon :)

Backerkit Live! Add-ons and Art!

Hi All!

The backerkit has been launched to finalize your pledges/add-ons/shipping.  It will be open until the end of July so no rush

Fields of Flame add-on ($8):

This does not come with the Epic tier. If you pledged an extra $8 during the kickstarter, you should be able to simply select it in the pledge manager and you will be set!

The Epic Tier comes with: 2x Core Sets, 2xExclusive Promo Packs and (last minute stretch goal) 2xWood's Edge add-on packs. The only add-on left is the Fields of Flame add-on set (this will have x4 of every card in this add-on) I've had a few questions on this and hopefully this clears that up!

If you have any issues with this, please send me a message and I will look into it.

ART:

I also have a few pieces of update art to share with starting with the Elf Queen:

(the artist thinned her legs/hips from the original in the last update to match the rest of her body)

Finally, the free add-on pack added quite a few new pieces of art that we are working on now. Here is a sketch set for the Forest Druid sketch:

Elf Queen Art, Add-On packs, more EXCLUSIVES!

We have 5 artists working on finishing up the remaining cards. With the stretch goals and add-on packs, it's added a few dozen more pieces BUT they are making great progress. I gave 2 months to finish all art (including boxes and packages) and I think we should hit that goal

WITH YOUR VOTE, here is the Elf Queen (so far) with the added magic effect to show her nature powers along with her leadership:

BOOSTER PACKS: UPDATE:

We have put both Fields of Flames packs in one add-on set (2 packs of 16 cards for $8) for the pledge manager. This ensures that anyone wanting every card in the game will get all cards available in just one add-on

This should NOT effect any Add-Ons if you have pledged for the extra packs

Once the pledge manager is available, you would simply just select the Fields of Flame add-on set for $8 (2 packs of 16 cards each)

We are adding more FREE Exclusives to the promo set for a few reasons:

1) An added Thank-You from our team, 2) the change in how we are packaging the 2 Add-On packs together (to keep the set together) and finally, 3) because we didn't have the Playmats ready for the kickstarter we may have missed out on more pledges and thus maybe even another stretch goal. So for fun... New Stretch Goal Completed!

Each piece has a lot of back and forth and every detail is looked at. Were very happy how the Crow Knight has come to life after it was unlocked on the final stretch goal!

That was a great last day as we plowed past the last stretch goal to unlock ALL cards I had available for this Kickstarter.

Here is a graphic to show the final tally for just one Knight Tier Core Set pledge:

So what is next?

Art - We started ramping up art early in the campaign once we got our funding goal on the 1st day. So we have a great start on this already

Pledge Manager - We are still talking to 2 pledge managers and will have a decision soon. Before this, I will send out some final backer surveys for addresses and such

Production - Now that we know everything that is included in this Kickstarter, we can get an initial schedule prepared with our producer. Actual production on the proof will be after we get our art completed

Shipping - We should have plenty of time to be ready to ship before October. Of course there could be unforeseeable issues but I will be up front and communicate to all backers if there is any as we go forward

Play Mats! - We think we have play mats finalized! More details in the next week. They should be a part of the Pledge Manager. They are not required.  They do work very well with this game as the faction symbols along the top of the mats line up for each of the 5 ranks. Also, they will have a nice piece of art from the game on each (we plan on having 2 unique mats)

Add-On Packs - I sorta messed up on the final pack (#3) as I wanted to give everyone twice as many cards for the final Stretch Goal! Another 8 uniques instead of 4 as in packs #1 and #2. So now they are not the same number of uniques as #3 but I will have a solution for this and update later

Late Pledge - I had a couple emails on this and basically, if anyone has missed this and wanted in, they can email: [email protected]. Nothing guaranteed but we can try to get them in before things are finalized in the next few weeks.

Stretch Goal hit! Less than 2 hours to go!

This has been a great ride and I am VERY excited to see the set increase even more

Almost everyone that play tested the game was constantly looking forward to more and more cards to play. This game definitely scales very well with a larger card pool. As with any game where you construct decks, the more card options you have, the better. I'm very happy with the set that will release to the public with these stretch goals met :)

For the Knight Tier pledge (1 Core Set), here are the final totals:

135 card deck: 60 unique creatures and spells (x2 of each), 15 other cards (tokens, life counters, reference cards)

16 card Add-on pack #3: 8 unique creatures and spells (x2 of each)

11 card Exclusive Promo Pack: 4 unique Exclusive Legendary creatures (x2 of each), 3 Exclusive Gems 

Of course double this with an Epic Tier pledge (2 Core Sets)
